With summer here you probably want to be outside enjoying the beautiful weather with your child. What better way to do it than by supporting their curriculum with a Bird Kite you can actually fly?!
For young children, nothing compares to playing outside! Creating this fun bird kite is a great way to bring your little one some fun while reinforcing what they're learning about in the classroom. All you need is construction paper, tape, a stapler, scissors, and string or ribbon.
- Fold the Paper in half, hamburger style.
- Fold down the sides of the paper and staple them down.
- Cut out and glue your beak and tail on.
- Punch hole in bottom and attach the string!
