The process of painting with funnels is the perfect creative outlet for your kids! Assistance may be required for younger children when putting the paint into the funnels.
- Funnels with small holes
- Thick paper
- Squeeze bottles
- Large peice of cardboard (optional)
- Tape paper down to a large piece of cardboard outside. This will help minimize messes.
- Ask the kids to hold the funnels over the paper. Depending on the kids' age, either they can pour the paint into the funnel or a teahcer can help them do this.
- Ask the child to move the funnel around as the paint drips out which creates the artwork.
It may take a while for the paint to dry, but the completed artwork is dramatic! The colors swirl and mix together in the most beautiful ways. This art project is great for kids because they not only get to make beautiful art, but they also develop fine motor skills by taping down the paper, squeezing the paint into the funnels, and holding the funnels.
