Heroes for Heroes Day!

By: Kate Quattlebaum

A hero is a doer—someone who does what needs to be done when it needs to be done, even if it’s scary. Our country has been built on the sacrifices of many heroes. Firefighters, medics, police, and members of the armed forces are just some of the heroes responsible for our safety and freedom.

Superhero movies have been all the rage lately, and many of us have come to associate “hero” with the likes of Batman, Wonder Woman, and Black Panther. Real-life heroes don’t have capes or magic rings like the superheroes we see in movies, but their bravery and courage is just as real! We are lucky to be surrounded by people who care enough to take risks for others.

To commemorate today, celebrate the heroes in your life. Go out of your way to do something for them to show them how much you appreciate their actions. So get out there and be a heroes hero!

We invite prospective parents to drop on by any of our preschool locations nationwide and see why Childcare Network is more than just a day care.
