 ExerciseIt's easy to go overboard during the holidays with all the shopping, cooking, sending cards, and attending events. Don't feel obligated to do all of these things. Be sure to set aside some time or yourself to RELAX and UNWIND.

Studies have shown that listening to music you love can relax blood vessels and increase blood flow, which creates a calming effect. So listen to your favorite music, whether it's Jingle Bell Rock or the latest from Beyoncé.

#4 Don't Neglect your Workout

Exercise may be the last thing you feel like doing when you're stressed out, but going for a run or hitting the gym can actually make you feel better.

Although spending money during the holiday season may be unavoidable, you can control how much you spend. Some of the stress you feel over the holidays may have a lot to do with financial pressure. To help prevent stress over money, plan ahead, review your finances, and come up with a realistic budget for gifts. Buying gifts shouldn’t affect your ability to pay your bills, nor should it result in costly credit card debt.
